Vyrus plans to run hub-center steered 986 M2 Factory racebike in Moto2

Boutique Italian motorcycle company Vyrus is hoping to cause a real shake-up in top-level racing by entering its radically unorthodox Vyrus 986 M2 Factory in the heavily standardized Moto2 competition.

With the same weight, engine, tires and electronics as its opponents, the Vyrus bike is more or less a controlled experiment in the racetrack effectiveness of hub-center steering. It will be the first time in decades that we’ve seen a machine enter top-level racing without a set of traditional telescopic forks at the front end. If it succeeds, it has a real chance at causing a suspension revolution in the sportsbike world. Oh, and there’s streetbike and kit versions available too. Very exciting news.

Finally, Honda India website has been updated, and it’s now confirmed that Honda CBR 250R has been officially launched in India. Garware Motors, Hyosung Dealers In India

20 April, 2011- Hyosung GT 650R has been launched in India after a long wait.

Authorized Dealer of Hyosung Superbikes

The bike is available in two colour schemes that includes single colour (fully faired) and dual tone colour, it is priced at Rs 4.75 lakh and Rs. 4.90 lakh.

The booking for the bike has also been commenced from the launch date while the delivery of the bike would start from mid-June.

Garware Motors Looking Forward To Sell 2,000 Superbikes

The Pune-based Garware Motors Ltd Tuesday said it was looking to sell around 2,000 units of Hyosung’s super bikes in its first year.

‘We will start accepting bookings for the two models in March and start deliveries in April. We plan to sell around 2,000 units in the first year – Diya Garware Ibanez (managing director) .

2011 Garware Hyosung GT650R in India

Garware Motors has tied up with South Korean company S&T Motors to assemble and sell Hyosung brand super bikes and would soon launch two models GT650R and ST7.

The company plans to have 10 dealers across the country.

According to Ibanez, the company has invested around Rs.20 crore in the assembly plant near Pune. The plant can assemble around 10 bikes a day imported in a completely knocked down (CKD) condition. >> Read More
