Over the years he has participated in over 58 major rallies like Raid the Himalayan, South India Rally, Hot weather rally, K-1000 etc- National and international- always finishing in top 5 positions. Sondhi also brought the recognition to the sport by doing an advertisement for Hero Puch with actor Aamir Khan. This ad paved the way for his successful modeling career involving top bike companies like Escorts, Yamaha and Hero Honda.

He currently runs a successful second-hand bike showroom-Bittoo Bikewallah-at Lajpat Nagar, His extra-ordinary exploits in the field of motor-cycle rallying despite being a cancer survivor besides his astonishing zest for life and humility have been recognized by Action Aid – which has christened him as its ambassador.

His determination to give back to what he has achieved to the society, led him to motivate children and youth across India through his association not only with ActionAid but organizations like Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Smriti, Plan International, Vikalp, World Comics, Unicef, Chetna, Kalyanam and many more.

Be it the issue of disability, girl child & female feticide, vulnerable street children, Polio Bittoo has voiced his concerns at every given opportunity and his perseverance has no periphery.

Bittoo also initiated a new idea to bring joint friendship channels between India & Pakistan and to write the common history of two countries. He organized cricket match of street children including homeless and freed bonded labourers to spread the message of peace and harmony between the two countries for ActionAid & Plan international.

Having seen life very closely and the long struggle, the underprivileged children remind him of his childhood dreams and his yearning to reach out to each one of them.

Engine Features
The 1783cc, 8-valve DOHC, 54 degree, liquid-cooled, fuel injected V-twin engine is designed for strong throttle response and quick acceleration.

Suzuki’s class-leading electronic fuel injection system features the Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve system (SDTV) with 56mm throttle bodies, which maintains optimum air velocity for smooth low- to mid-range throttle response.

The Boulevard M109R Limited features a massive 112mm bore and 90.5mm stroke, utilizing huge 112mm forged aluminum alloy pistons with short skirts, and cut away sides riding on chrome moly steel connecting rods.

Each engine bore is lined with Suzuki’s race proven SCEM (Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material) for optimum heat transfer, tighter piston-to-cylinder clearances and reduced weight.

A dual spark plug per cylinder ignition system is controlled by the Boulevard M109R’s powerful 32-bit ECM for improved combustion efficiency and reduced exhaust emissions.

The Boulevard M109R Limited uses Suzuki Advanced Sump System (SASS), which is a compact dry sump lubrication system that provides reduced engine height, a lower crankshaft position and a lower center of gravity.

A unique two-stage cam drive system creates a compact cylinder head design, reduces overall engine height and creates a lower center of gravity.

The 2-into-1-into-2 stainless steel chromed exhaust system features Suzuki’s digitally controlled SET (Suzuki Exhaust Tuning) system for optimum engine performance and a powerful V-twin sound.

The Boulevard M109R Limited has a three piece, 9.5 liter volume airbox (with dual intakes), working through a pleated fabric air cleaner element.
Chassis Features
A high-tensile double cradle steel frame is built to comfortably handle all the power and torque while delivering agile handling and a plush smooth ride.

Inverted front forks featuring race-proven cartridge internals with 46mm stanchion tubes provide 5.12-inches of wheel travel.

A cast aluminum alloy swingarm works with a progressive shock linkage and a preload adjustable single rear shock delivers 4.66 inches of wheel travel working through a shaft drive system. The Boulevard M109R Limited front brake system includes radial mounted four piston front calipers and 310mm front brake rotors. The rear brake system includes a dual piston caliper and 275mm rear disc.

Spiral spoke cast aluminum alloy wheels measure 3.50 x 18 inch up front and a massive 8.50 x 18 inch rear. The rear wheel wears a huge 240mm rear Dunlop radial tire—the largest ever used on a Suzuki motorcycle. The Boulevard M109R Limited is equipped with a sleek and wide fuel tank with a 5.2-gallon fuel capacity that flows into integrated side covers; a comfortable low seat; and a stylish radiator cowl.

New exclusive superbike workshop in Delhi

Now onwards, the super bikers zooming along the roads of New Delhi can opt for an exclusive workshop for their sports bikes.

Bittoo Sodhi who has carved out a name for himself among the motor sports fraternity has opened this exclusive workshop for sports bikes under the name Bittoo Suzuki.

The workshop is fully automatic and the experts of the Suzuki Company have trained the mechanics in the technical intricacies of various bike models.

“Usually people open service centres in the NCR areas and then it is very difficult for a customer to travel so long. And from our Suzuki point of view this workshop in Delhi is centrally located and secondly the facilities and manpower available has been fully trained by the Suzuki. Spare parts are also available and we want the bikers should get the spare parts and services easily,” said Atul Gupta, Vice President (Sales and Marketing), Suzuki Motorcycles Private Limited.

Sodhi has opened this workshop in collaboration with Suzuki Motorcycle Private Limited.

On the occasion, Suzuki showcased two international winner models of super bikes – GSX-R1000 and Bandit 1250S. These sports bikes are known for their powerful engines and futuristic styling. (ANI)
